USERNAME; Micro Squid
NICKNAME; Micro or squid is fine, depends on which word you're more comfortable with.
ACTIVITY; 8/10
MUSE; 8/10

NAME; Abesee /ab-eh-see/
AGE; 17 moons
GENDER; Female
SEXUALITY; Bisexual
DESIRED RANK; Forsaker
BACK-UP RANK; If I can't become a Forsaker, I'll be a Forsaker.

PERSONALITY; Abesee is far from anything resembling a reasonable cat, as all her actions tend to be perverse (not the pervert kind) and simply unreasonable. She acts on impulse, and her motives vary depending completely on her present feelings. She can be excessively care-free at times, and is usually inconsiderate of others no matter their importance. She is without a doubt, forgetful and can easily manipulate her own notions to suit how she feels.
She can be a kind, loving friend one moment then a vengeful being who wants to claw your eyes out for saying one wrong word. It can be surprising to see her change her mind in a blink, or when she smacks you when you've done absolutely nothing wrong. Summing it all up, Abeee is both a sensitive and rather scatterbrained cat that should not be trusted at all times. A good thing about her though, is that she enjoys the company of others no matter who they are. Though her loyalty can change dramatically in a short matter of time, it's nice to make the most out of becoming brief friends with her.

APPEARANCE; Abesse complements her behavior quite well with her scruffy appearance. Patches of fur are neatly groomed, the other parts looks as if she hasn't licked them for weeks. This could represent her rapid change of heart. She is a black and white, usually skinny she-cat, whose eyes are murky yellow. Majority of her fur is white, the splotches of black is present mostly around her face and head. As it travels down to her chest, the splotches turn to specks and spreads throughout her flanks till it fades to nothingness. Her tail is pretty short, just a few inches from being considered a stump. She is short-furred and quite tall thanks to her long legs.
ANY PLOT IDEAS/SUGGESTIONS?; None at the moment.
OTHER; Never eat soggy waffles! D: Tried it before, it was an icecream waffle and it felt like I was biting into wet cardboard.

He is fun-loving and has a habit of joking around even when cats ignore him. Other than that, Trailpaw is easily irritated and daring when it comes to disagreements.

-We are one, yet we are many-

Important Information[A MUST READ]
About the Four Groups
-Us Jigsaw Cats are divided into four groups, who each have their own contribution and unique skills.
-The four groups live together, forming the Jigsaw Cats tribe.
-While one group is good at something, the other three groups are not.
-The four groups that make up the Jigsaw Cats are the following: Officium the dutiful, Obeithiol the optimistic, Supersum the survivors and Infitialis the dark.
-To tell the difference from one cat and another, each group has a signature uniform-like thing that represents their cats (e.g Officiums must have a vine tied to them somewhere).

What they Contribute
-Officiums are usually considered the leaders of the entire tribe, though there are no official leaders. They are the law and decision makers. They usually have the final say in everything. Not only that, they are the source of the best, most skilled fighters/soldiers.
-Obeithiols are the main source for entertainment, joy and leisure. They are usually care-free cats who simply wants to enjoy. Their specialty is arts and crafts, even music which are normally singing. They are the one who serves feasts for the entire tribe. So there are chefs as well who recreate caught prey into something marvelous.
-Supersums are tough and well-built for the wild, more than most cats in the other groups. They consist of hunters, gatherers and medics. They are very resourceful and Obeithiol rely on them to bring food for tribe feasts, they are able to collect herbs themselves too. They do not need to have fighters as Officium is in charge of that.
-Infitialis are the opposite of Obeithiols, they create dark myths, scary stories and are simply the spookiest cats of the tribes. That makes them the best story tellers, even better than Obeithiols who are considered too happy-go-lucky for their tastes. They are the secret-keepers, though that is not a rank, it's just that most of them are rather mysterious and tight-lipped (this conflicts with them being storytellers, it's just that they aren't talkative most of the time). They provide the sneakiest spies and assassins, a few could be called murderers.

The Reliance Chain

Key: [group that relies] -------------> [group that is relied on]

Information Good moods Resources Order
Officium ---------------> Infitialis ---------------> Obeithiols ---------------> Supersums ---------------> Officium

Traditions and Beliefs
-Cats of this tribe could have been former clan-cats, loners or kittypets. Everyone may believe in anything they want, be it Starclan or ghosts.
-Every day, there is a feast for the entire tribe, hosted by Obeithiol and stocked by Supersum. This is usually the perfect time for Officium to hold speeches and announce recent news. Infitialis may or may not sulk in a corner or attempt to scare their tribe mates. Everyone has their own fun, the Feast starts right after sundown, and ends when most cats go to sleep. During the morning and afternoon, all groups are forbidden to eat anything as the Feast is meant to feed everyone in the end, equally. It is the most looked-forward-to event of the day.

Graduation
-When a cat decides upon which group they believe they fit in most, they will state so. This time of choosing occurs when a Hesitant (apprentice) graduates into a Piece (a cat who has chosen their group).
-Hesitants may take as much time as they like to get to know the four groups, starting at the age of 6 months. They may use the time to train themselves to be like the group they want to join.
-It is encouraged to chose after at least 2 moons of familiarizing and re-considerations. Some cats even take more than 5 moons to chose.
-Hesitants must finalize their decision by speaking with an important cat from the group they chose (e.g for Officium, they must speak with the King or Queen).

۞ Officium the Dutiful ۞

Requirements to become an Officium (personality traits);
Pieces must have at least 2 of these traits if they're in this group, same goes to Hesitants that wants to choose it.
- Dutiful
- Loyal
- Disciplined
- Respectful
- Polite
- Responsible
- Noble
- Honorable
- Has good morals

Ranks
Each group has different systems of ranks, as they all have their own specialties.

King - The overseer and supervisor. He/she is the one who gives out speeches and makes the final say in decisions made by the Nobles (King doesn't have to be male).
Queen - The King's partner, sometimes mate. She/he is the King's top adviser and second-in-command (that's right the Queen can be a male).
Nobles - Nobles discuss with one another about an issue then inform the two royal rulers of the decisions they can make. Nobles normally argue with each other (like politicians).
Commanders - Experienced commanders who trains willing Pieces in the art of battle no matter what their age.

Battle Pieces - The fighters who battle with brute strength, powerful jaws and sharpened claws.
Thrower Pieces - Tactical fighters who flings objects at enemies, with great range and accuracy.
Swifter Pieces - Rapid runners or cats simply with great agility and fluid movements inflict small yet endless damage to their enemies, with nips that draws blood and tiny scratches that irritate.

Hesitants - Young, 6 moons old+ cats that are in the stage of thinking/training for choosing a group. They may not be called a Piece as they have not chosen their group yet, they are simply residing in the group they were born in till graduation.
Expectant Pieces - Pregnant she-cats who are expecting kits.
Tiny Pieces - Kits, under the age of 6 moons.
Retired Pieces - Elderly or disabled cats who no longer can uphold their purpose, they are to be respected.

She sees everything from a far away viewpoint, as if she's trying to guess what a narrator may say to describe the current setting. Seednose blinked with brief surprise, he didn't expect them to come to his side. Now he felt a sense of responsibility, and that something was expected of him. He caught a swift glimpse of the Midnightclanners and to his disappointment they appeared very serene. His excitement dimmed for a moment, but he held his gaze to catch any hints of trespassing. Nope... Nothing yet... He turned back to his clanmates and threw a question at them before it all seemed like he was making a fuss out of nothing. "Why do you think they're here?"

Name- Wants to be called Leader, originally Segota

Character Age- 15 moons

Gender- Female

Alliance- None

Rank- Considered a lone wanderer [loner]

Appearance-

Has a poofed-out face, the ordinary shape of any other sand cat. Black-tipped ears, light green eyes and a sandy coat. Her muzzle, paws and underbelly is white which fades back into a sandy color. This gives her pelt a gradient texture instead of solid transitions. She has various black stripes and specks on her body, particularly on her back and head. She is short, stout and has a lumpy tail.

Personality- A care-free dreamer yet a coward in dynamic situations. She sees herself as a free being and would never stand obeying others. Segota has a sly and confident attitude to other cats, despite her lack of strength and small size. She is mischievous and enjoys seeing the outcomes of situations. She strives to be manipulative and in charge but easily gives up when something goes far too wrong. But complementing that, she is quick to think of new ideas so giving up gives her the opportunity to do something new again.
---Likes- New and exciting ideals, changing the thoughts of others and the feeling of pure joy at sunsets.
--- Dislikes- Being bossed around, being trapped and sunny mornings.
---Strengths- Confident of herself, hard to lose self-esteem.
---Weaknesses- Physically weak, pathetic fighter and can't swim.

History- Born in a human sanctuary for endangered animals. Segota is the result of a successful sand cat breeding project. She received her name, Segota from her birth mother right before becoming separated for the humans to vaccinate and 'forever' take care of her. The breeding project was looked down upon and was cancelled, therefore all sand cats that were bred had to be got rid of. She was freed into the wild instead at 7 moons of age. She learned to hunt from watching strays, rogues and natural instinct helped her along the way. Thankfully, the sanctuary did not spoil her and kept her big-cat nature intact.

Roleplay Sample- WIP

Despite being in the same association and camp, Abesee would always observe those around her with newly formed, curious intent. Dusky yellow eyes followed the familiar tom. "Light, you look agitated." The white and black she-cat whirred, hissing out the last word as it was annoying to pronounce. She stood on all fours behind a tepee, the one she was sleeping soundly in just a few moments ago. Fortunately, the Forsaker was not at all annoyed by being woken up as she has taken a quick interest in Neonlight's attitude.

((You can call me anything, boss! I won't mind -takes up an obedient minion stance-
mehe

"Hold on, no need for that!" A blithe voice intervened, the owner a stout and rather thrilled sand cat. She trotted up to the two cats, though her request was directed at them her gaze was stuck on the blue rabbit avidly. "You said something about a trophy pelt, didn't you?" The short she-cat asked lightly, yet in the same time she had to tear her eyes away from the attractive colored pelt. "Well, I'll be happy to take it away."

"Mmm..." Abesee hummed, disappointed by the tom's brief answer. "I'm fine... except I was woken up by someone's annoying growl!" She exclaimed with increasing anger. Yeah, why do I have to suffer waking up early just because of someone else's frustration!? She thought to herself bitterly. Realization grew in her eyes, she twitched her tail expectantly for an apology of sorts.

The sand cat blinked thankfully at Caesi, rolling her eyes at the other Sunclanners' comments. "Dangerous, unnatural, all I can tell is that it's pretty." She half sneered, half purred. She lowered her head to the blue rabbit's scruff then stopped, hesitating. She was unsure whether to skin the rabbit now or take the whole package to do it somewhere afar. She eventually resumed and lifted the pastel carcass just slightly above ground then proceeded to drag it away.

The sand cat flattened her ears and backed off, swaying the rabbit away onto her other side to avoid the Sunclanner's reaching paw. She stood a pace away from the cat, twitching her tail irritatingly. Her shoulders slumped back down and she sighed through the muffle of blue fur in her mouth. "Sorry." She muttered. Are all Sunclanners this nosy? Oof, I better not think like that, but still how annoying.

Abesee blinked, her anger disappearing within a tail swish. "You're not idiotic and stupid..." she murmured, great now I feel bad.. Her paw swung to the other awkwardly. With her balance tipped, she fell into a shaky and unexpected trot. The she-cat was unsure where her absent mind has decided to head to but she sure didn't want to face Neonlight anymore. Ah, the Everfree Range of course! Her eyes lit up at the idea of fresh, forest air, she lifted up her chin and trotted with confidence towards the undergrowth. Her pace quickened after catching the far away scent of Cassidy and Quentin.

Ranks + Imporant Information

There is no leader, or a rank system in fact. Dominance over others may be gained in any way that someone wants, either through physical strength or mutually gained respect. Point is, there is no official leadership that makes the decision for everyone.

Everyone is unique, as they all have differences whether it be a weakness or strength. Many have their own original talents and skills.

Everyone may choose their own title to be known by, which may also represents their job in this group. For example, Flara the Inspired Scratcher. 'Flara' is the cat's name, which is used by only those who are close to her. It is considered rude or offensive for a stranger to call a cat in this group by just their name. 'Inspired Scratcher' is her title, as she is an imaginative cat who likes to scratch at the ground to create art. Cats are addressed as their title by those that don't know them well and only has knowledge of their self-given title. Or, when one is addressing the other with great respect.

Cats are free to believe in any religion they choose. Some may be former clan cats or kittypets.

These cats are only bonded by one thing: Respect. Every one of them are allowed to be rude or violent to one another as long as they don't look down at each other as if they are worthless. These cats may be rather eccentric and strange compared to most clans, tribes, anti-clans etc. As they are allowed to be or not to be loyal to an individual, they may even betray them but still stay in The Soles. The one thing that is not allowed is to think they are superior simply because they have a skill the other don't or is better at something. That is their definition of respect, politeness is not the essential at all. It is equality that matters.

Rules
The Sole Code [IC]: (these are rules set and followed by the Soles themselves, in other words the characters being roleplayed. Therefore, it is OOCly allowed for your character to break any of these, I won't ban YOU from the thread or anything. It would add some tension and drama, and may even help characters develop.)

1. "Everyone is different [in personality, skills etc.] yet equal in worth", one must accept this statement to be part of The Soles.
2. To degrade one's value is forbidden, even if they are doing it to themselves. For example, saying "you/I don't deserve to live!"
3. Believing and/or showing that you are better than others is strongly discouraged.
4. To kill a fellow Sole is the utmost forbidden act.
5. Betrayal to an individual due to personal reason(s) is fine, but betraying the whole group is considered stupid. Cats would normally be banned for betraying everyone.
6. Slaves are forbidden, obviously as keeping one degrades that slave's worth. But companions and 'henchmen' are allowed to have as long as they respect one another equally.
7. All animals allowed.

OOC
-Constructive + reasonable arguments and debates are allowed, but you must not do it on the RP thread. You can do it on a chat or even plot thread if you wish.
-Plain insults and offensive acts to another roleplayer will result in a warning, in extreme cases a temporary/permanent ban.
-Spam not allowed.
-To make it brief, don't do things people wouldn't like generally.
-Please be literate when roleplaying: no one-liners, have good grammar and don't forget your capitals~!
-PM if you're going to be inactive.

[There is no code words, as I expect just about everyone to read most of what's written here. It will be self-evident if someone doesn't since The Soles is different to the average clans, it'll be obvious if someone writes "Blueeyes yawned and padded out of the warriors den."]

Territory/prey/predators (a must-read for roleplaying)
Everyone is allowed to sleep and make dens anywhere within The Sole's territory to create their own personal home. They may hide their private objects, bury their own prey and hunt their own too. Freedom is flexible here.
